EMF PAINT GUIDE

EMF Shielding Paint

Our HSF and NSF series of EMF paints are designed to protect any space from high-frequency electromagnetic fields, low frequency electric fields and RF/Microwave radiation. These paints safely shield you with its almost constant protective attenuation. Our EMF Paints should be applied as a primer coat and preferably covered with plastic bonded, water-based emulsion paints, facade paints or silicon resin paints for the best results. Our paints are non –toxic, tested in Germany and do not contain toxic solvents or plasticizers. We provide you with the perfect protection against radiation from cell phones, computers, smart meters, cell towers, transmissions lines, wi-fi and any other source of radiation.

Application

To achieve a constant high attenuation, it is important to apply shielding paint with equal thickness using a first-class paint roller. Do not skip any areas. Always soak the first class paint roller with the equal amount of paint and try to coat equal surfaces. Allow to dry for 24 hours. In order to protect the shielding layer against mechanical damage and humidity, we recommend covering it with two final top coats. Use high quality, good covering, plastic bonded dispersion emulsion paints or pure mineral paints with excellent adhesion. Don't use pure mineral bonded coatings with clay, loam or chalk.

What is the coverage area for shielding paint?

In general,  1 Litre of paint is enough to cover 81 sq. Feet.

What is the attenuation of shielding paints?

Attenuation depending on application. Single layer is equal to 30-40 DB (shielding effectiveness of 99.98%), double layer 35-45 dB (shielding effectivness of 99.997%).

What is the area of application for shielding paints?

Typical areas of application are interior walls and ceilings.

Do I need to mix shielding paint with water?

The shielding paint is ready for use. Never mix with water or other coating materials.

Waste Disposal

Empty paint containers should be recycled. Dried up leftovers of paint

can be disposed of in household waste. Bring liquid leftovers of paint

to waste collection centers. Do not dispose of in sink, water, or ground!

Dispose in accordance with all applicable regulations. Avoid discharge

to natural waters.
